DESCRIPTION: Asé  is a Yoruba philosophy that is defined to represent the power that makes things happen and produces change; let it be so. The Asé Theatre Project uses theatre as a vehicle to cultivate change within performing artists, families and our community so that each participant experience confidence, joy and empathy. 

This summer session theme will be "Spoken Over Me" where we will generate an original performance exploring the meaning of our names, the impact of words and phrases spoken aloud and internally, while celebrating our power to speak life. The culminating performance will be a multimedia immersive theatre experience on July 18th at 7:00p.
